Spring
Cleaning
Tips
Spring symbolizes that time of year when we do our annual cleaning. Here are a few tips to help you with your spring cleaning.
Dealing with stainless steel:
If your kitchen has stainless steel appliances, here's a tip
to keep them bright and clean. Use a light mist of
wax-based aerosol spray once or twice a week. Always wipe
the mist with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Cleaning counter tops:
Depending on your counter tops, you want to make sure
that spills are cleaned up quickly. You should also have
your counter top sealed a few times as soon as it's
installed. Properly sealed counter tops will have surfaces
that bead when water is spilled on them.
Organizing closets:
Find unused clothes and
accessories, and donate them.
Once you clean up and organize
your closet, getting dressed in
the morning can become more
efficient.
Washing the walls:
The best approach is to use a mild
mix of dish soap and water. Use a cloth
or sponge and refresh the water/dish
soap frequently. Stronger solvents can
damage the paint.
