Summer Safety for the Kids
Summer is in full swing! Here are some tips to help keep your kids safe this summer.
Water
Drinking enough water and staying well hydrated during hot summer days is crucial. This can't be more critical than with children. Kids are often much more active than adults, and they can easily become dehydrated in the hotter weather of summer.
To replenish your family's fluid levels, make sure to give everyone lots of water and enrich your meals with high-liquid-content foods.

Sunscreen
Sunscreen plays an important role in helping to keep your children safe during the summer.
The harmful rays from the sun can also reflect off of the sand, water, and other reflective surfaces. Dress kids in protective clothing when possible, and have them wear hats with wide brims as well as sunglasses - this is also very helpful at preventing UV damage.
